3. Complete the LIA:

Literal

(a) “I, Sasha Mejia, affirm that I completed my independent component which represents 30 hours of work.”

(b) I completed 30 hours and had one hour extra and completed in doing makeup looks for different skin types. A variety.

Interpretive

I put a lot of work into the makeup I did for all the women, including myself. It takes a lot of time to get inspiration for what to do on a persons face. Makeup isn't cheap either. I have used a lot of my makeup with these women and I enjoyed it a lot even if it took me 2-3 hours to do a certain makeup look. Hopefully I'll get faster and do these looks in 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Applied

Obviously when you first apply makeup you can't expect to be great at it. As time passes though I found myself getting better at applying makeup and finding that to be a professional makeup artist that you have little time to do the makeup looks I did. There is a time limit and although I haven't felt the pressure, It would seem difficult. Also practice makes perfect. If I didn't practice then I wouldn't be doing this well. Patience is needed and a lot of passion. So to answer my EQ a bit is that you have to PRACTICE to make your makeup look more extravagant, dramatic, and amazing.

P.S. Sorry Mrs. Ortega if the pics come out strange in different places. I didn't exactly know how exactly to put them since it's a lot of pictures. so sorry!!!

  1. Okay, Sasha...if you were to do this again, I'd like a better breakdown of the time. It's hard for me to imagine why each face would take 2 hours. Did it take two hours to get it right and you'd have to begin again?
