(1) Summary of Services (what have you done so far? be specific an use examples)
I would go to the Smart set beauty salon or to the ladies house and see her put on makeup up on women and while she would explain to me what she would be applying and using. I would also pay attention when she would explain what she would do before having a client, such as setting the makeup stand out and making it look clean and tidy and how you should act with a client.
(2) Total Hours and Log and/or schedule of when you go
I have so far done 10 hours and recently was doing it this week Wednesday and Thursday. I think I will be doing it whenever she calls to tell me to go to the salon so it could be I go in 3-5 days for 5-12 hours a day. Weekdays it's single digit hours and weekends it's 2 digit hours.
(3) Most significant thing you have learned from the experience and why
I think just watching how the whole process works for starting out putting on makeup. To me it's so exciting and I enjoy it so much. It makes me happy, and keeps me wanting to know more. Luckily I do know some of the things and I enjoy asking questions. Experiencing it in real life, instead of having to sit around and watch a tutorial video is way better. Also another thing I learned is that if you're a makeup artist and if you don't want to follow the rules of makeup (example: having dramatic smoky eye makeup and having ruby red lipstick is a NO NO!) then do whatever you want. Like the example I gave, if you can make that look work then go for it. I was surprised by that.
This sounds good : )
