Makeup Artist
Why did you choose this topic?
Around 10th Grade I really became interested in makeup. I didn't know anything about it all and it was all so new to me. So little by little I tried makeup and as the months passed by I saw that I was getting better at the techniques of makeup. I was good at it and truly enjoyed it. Around this year was when I finally tried doing makeup on my girl cousins and they were all surprised and found that they had a makeup artist in the family. Since then makeup wasn't only something I enjoyed, but a form of art. I loved putting on makeup to myself and other people. It is something that I would love to do as a future career/profession.
What do you hope to accomplish after studying this topic all year?
I hope that my makeup artist skills will be better and that people won't only see makeup as only something to make women beautiful, but as a form of art with beauty and depth to it.
So, it does seem that you are interested in doing this as a career. How will you proceed with this? Are you going to go to cosmetology school? Take some make-up artistry classes?
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps you've changed your mind or are thinking that you'd like to do it on the side. That's okay, but your goal for the year needs to be more concrete. What is going to keep you going? What do you stand to gain from this?
